What tinnitus sounds like

This is the closest I could get to replicating the sound of my tinnitus. Tinnitus is a ringing in your ears or head and often does not go away, ever. I got it from going to a concert (And it's the only one I've ever been to) and was right by the amp. I didn't know about tinnitus until a few days later when the ringing didn't go away and I was told it was tinnitus. Why am I telling you this? So you know to wear earplugs whenever you go to concerts so you don't end up with tinnitus like I did. I found out that mine will most-likely be permanent, so I know that if I knew about tinnitus then I would have taken safety precautions, so I figure I'll let you guys all know since I know that I would have liked to know about tinnitus before hand. There are other ways to get tinnitus, but this is the most common, and is often untreatable other than trying to use other noises to drown out the sound of the tinnitus. The main problem with having tinnitus from my experiences are that trying to get some sleep is like going through hell.
